What's All the Excitement About? Canon's 5D Mark II

Canon has made a 21 megapixel still camera with 1080 HD video that challenges old school cinematography. Anyone can handle this camera, even if you have some shake (has smoothing options), low light, or low experience.

Everyone with a modicum of skill can shoot cinema quality material with just the camera and a laptop for easy editing. To some the $2,700 price tag is pocket change, others are grumbling it's too much. Whether you wait for the price to come down or not, try to get your hands on one for a test drive. Suddenly the price might not be so bad.
