World's First Built-In Projection Camera from Nikon Just Released, Projects Up To 40 Inches
|Nikon has announced the COOLPIX S1000pj, and along with a big 2.7" screen, a 12.1MP sensor, and 5x wide-angle zoom, there's a built-in VGA projector inside. It'll throw images of up to 40-inches onto a wall 6' away for slideshows complete with music, effects, and transitions, and comes with a remote control and handy stand. Amazing!
The camera also features a 5-way hybrid (optical and electronic) VR image stabilization system, automatic motion detection adjustments, and ISO up to 6400 (at three megapixels). Also Nikon's original Best Shot Selector (BSS) that takes up to 10 shots while the shutter is pressed and saves the sharpest image.
Other key portrait photography features include Face-priority AF that can detect up to 12 faces in a single frame, Skin Softening that makes suitable changes after analysis of skin tone, Smile Timer shoots when best smile is detected, in-camera Red-eye fix and Blink proof function, shoots when subject's eyes are widest open.
Rolls out in September in two colors, black and silver; and will retail for around $430.00 USD.
