Photographers Give Back to the Community Dec 12th Help-Portrait Day Worldwide

Photographer Jeremy Cowart has organized this fantastic effort, Help-Portrait, to provide needy families around the world with a holiday portrait. Photographers are coming together to donate their expertise, time and equipment on Dec. 12th, 2009 photographing those who normally would never have anything so precious, a professional quality portrait of themselves, their children and their family.



The way it works is at their website, help-portrait.com, photographers get set up with the people in their community who need assistance, and the organizers of the event in their area. The photographer takes the pics, prints them up and delivers them back to the folks free of charge.

Planning meetings are taking place now around the country; you can get in touch with and find out the plan for your city at the Help-Portrait website. This is the perfect marriage of time and talent for photographers who wish to give back to their community.
